‘White People Don’t Exist,’ Says Author Walter Mosley

Walter Mosley, American crime fiction novelist of more than 40 books including, Devil in a Blue Dress, says racism will end when we realize “white people don’t exist.”

In an interview Wednesday with NPR, the writer responded to typical discussion topics; projects in queue, industry demographics and upcoming honors — namely his recent recognition given by the National Black Writers Conference (NBWC), which he first attended as a soon-to-be-published writer in 1988.

Mosley also invoked a “things that make you go hmmm” moment, when he responded to an article he wrote about the Trayvon Martin case where he questioned the varying ways George Zimmerman was racially categorized in the media as white, half white, Hispanic or half Hispanic.

“Poor Little Rich Women”

I always enjoy reading the reaction of supposedly hyper-tolerant, non-judgemental, cultural-relativist progressives when they encounter traditionalism, high-investment parenting, and the success that seems to go with it.

Listen to her squirm with disapproval before finally abandoning the veneer of tolerance for full fledged condescension and ridicule:

On non-intervention

I think property rights and rule of law are virutes.

Intervention on behalf of property rights are rule of law are good things.

Non-intervention alone is not a good thing. It has become so in the parlance of many libertarians because the US gov’t intervention often goes hand in hand with violations of property rights / rule of law. But non-intervention should never be considered a virtue in itself. That is suicide.

Many libertarians have what I consider to be a very feminine / gossiping / shaming / beta male conception of property. They think it is “natural”, and everyone who violates property can be shamed into behaving more “naturally”.

This is childish and naive.

The grownup version of libertarianism is this: you get property when you can punish everyone who would violate property.

Libertarians who ignore the cost of doing this are attempting to free ride — to purchase their liberty as a discount.

Mutual insurance seems like the best chance at establishing liberty.

I pledge to intervene on your behalf (in support of property and rule of law), if you pledge to intervene on mine.

The aristocrats must not abandon their people

As the bottom third (under the guise of the 99%) attacks the top third (calling them the 1%), the top increasingly abandon and shelters itself. The US is becoming more like Brazil.

I wonder if the top isn’t making a mistake as they, quite sensibly, pursue self-preservation. Perhaps they should make a more deliberate effort to provide arguments, a vision, and a positive example to the bottom. Or else the Cathedral will mobilize them for its own purposes.

In other words, I wonder if the beliefs and norms of the bottom third isn’t the “decisive terrain” in the struggle to shape modern society.

Progressive Professor: ‘If You are a White Male, You Don’t Deserve to Live!’

Keep going academia… Eventually, we’ll get fed up.

Noel Ignatiev, a professor at Massachusetts College of Art, has for years advocated the total elimination of Caucasians.

During his final lecture before retirement last Monday, he told his white male students “you don’t deserve to live. You are a cancer, you’re a disease.”

They only murder, exploit and oppress non-whites! At least a white woman can have sex with a black man and make a brown baby but what can a white male do? He’s good for nothing. Slavery, genocides against aboriginal peoples and massive land confiscation, the inquisition, the holocaust, white males are all to blame! You maintain your white male privilege only by oppressing, discriminating against and enslaving others!

MSNBC Says Black Cops Charged In Freddie Gray’s Death Are Actually ‘‘White African-Americans’’

ove over George Zimmerman, you notorious “white Hispanic”, you! There’s a new sheriff in town, or rather anthropologist, and she knows who’s “white” or a “whiter”−non−White better than even CNN!

The sheriff in question (and we apologize if using the term “sheriff” is perceived as racist by anyone) is MSNBC’s “news” anchor Melissa Harris-Perry, who said Friday that, as with George Zimmerman, the three black police officers charged in the death of Baltimore’s Freddie Gray are not African-American, but are in fact “white’ African-Americans”.
