Montana signs defiant gun law

“The State of Montana has defied the federal government and their gun laws. This will prompt a showdown between the federal government and the State of Montana. The federal government fears citizens owning guns. They try to curtail what types of guns they can own. The gun control laws all have one common goal – confiscation of privately owned firearms.

Montana has gone beyond drawing a line in the sand. They have challenged the Federal Government. The fed now either takes them on and risks them saying the federal agents have no right to violate their state gun laws and arrest the federal agents that try to enforce the federal firearms acts. This will be a world-class event to watch. Montana could go to voting for secession from the union, which is really throwing the gauntlet in Obamas face. If the federal government does nothing they lose face. Gotta love it.

Important Points – If guns and ammunition are manufactured inside the State of Montana for sale and use inside that state then the federal firearms laws have no applicability since the federal government only has the power to control commerce across state lines. Montana has the law on their side. Texas Governor Rick Perry Promotes Sovereignty Resolution

If I had to choose between country and freedom, I would choose freedom.

“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.”

North Dakota House Passes State Sovereignty Resolution

On April 7, 2009, the North Dakota House of Representatives passed House Concurrent Resolution 59 (HR59) “affirming North Dakota’s sovereignty under the 10th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and to demand the federal government halt its practice of assuming powers and imposing mandates on the states for purposes not enumerated in the Constitution of the United States.” (Read more from tenthamendmentcenter.com)

Chuck Norris on the second American Revolution

“The call by some right wing leaders for rebellion and for the military to refuse the commander in chief’s orders is joined by Chuck Norris who claims that thousands of right wing cell groups have organized and are ready for a second American Revolution. Setback for New Hampshire reassertion of sovereignty (7 yea, 11 nay)

New Hampshire was the first of eight states (now nine) to introduce state legislation opposing the federal government’s invasiveness beyond their constitutional duties.

Here, NH-Rep. Dan Itse, is interviewed on Alex Jones’s infowars. Rep Itse sponsored of HCR 6, the bold reassertion of New Hampshire’s sovereignty under our tenth amendment.

Unfortunately, after much supportive rhetoric, the bill was voted down.

Texas went on alert for the first time in modern history, in reaction to violence just across the border between the Mexican military and the Mexican drug cartels.

Texas Bill Reasserts 10th Amendment Rights

Missouri: Ground zero in the fight against Real ID

Missouri State Representative Jim Guest, a noble statesman and patriot has been given his own committee regarding Real ID and personal privacy. Representative Guest has been a strong leader in the fight against Real ID. His bill, HB361 can be read here:

Feb 2nd: New Hampshire Legislature Takes On Federal Gov’t
“The New Hampshire state legislature took an unbelievably bold step today by introducing a resolution to declare certain actions by the federal government to completely totally void and warning that certain future acts will be viewed as a “breach of peace” with the states themselves that risks “nullifying the Constitution. ” This act by New Hampshire is a clear warning to the federal government that they could face being stripped of their power by the States (presumably through civil war!) The remarkable document outlines with perfect clarity, some basics long forgotten. For instance, it reminds Congress “That the Constitution of the United States, having delegated to Congress a power to punish treason, counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, piracies, and felonies committed on the high seas, and offences against the law of nations, slavery, and no other crimes whatsoever;. . . . . therefore all acts of Congress which assume to create, define, or punish crimes, other than those so enumerated in the Constitution are altogether void, and of no force;” Federal gun crime laws?
