White House Press Secretary: Protests not directed at the United States

Clueless. Idiot. Arrogance.

open quoteWhite House press secretary Jay Carney said Friday the violent protests throughout the Middle East are not directed at the United States or U.S. policy but are a response to a YouTube video:

CARNEY: We also need to understand that this is a fairly volatile situation and it is in response not to United States policy, and not to, obviously, the administration, or the American people, but it is in response to a video, a film that we have judged to be be reprehensible and disgusting. That in no way justifies any violent reaction to it, but this is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at U.S. policy, this is in response to a video that is offensive to Muslims.

  1. Consider the possibility that the ambassador and
three guards were sacrificial lambs to divert national
attention from Obama’s dismal economic record
    and other gross problems.

Consider that the ambassador and his three guards
were ordered not to carry guns.

The White House had prior knowledge of impending
turbulence in certain countries and the four were
intentionally exposed to create an event to divert
    attention from Obama failures.

Just consider that this is an event by design. This
could be a crisis created by design? That Alinsky
    rules require turmoil.

RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the
expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase
insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens
all the time. Watch how many organizations under
attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant
arguments that they are then forced to address.)

RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep
trying new things to keep the opposition off balance.
As the opposition masters one approach, hit them
from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack,
attack from all sides, never giving the reeling
organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover
    and re-strategize.)
