I’ve been slow in giving up my devotion to intellectual property, but I’m being won over. When you claim intellectual property over, say, an invention of metal and plastic, you claim dominion over all the metal and plastic in the universe. If it is arranged the wrong way, you will bring to bear the violence of government to punish its owner.
This documentary stops short of condemning intellectual property. It limits its criticism to software, and clearly illustrates abuses.
