The jist of it is that many child-sex or other prostitution rings get traced to very powerful people, and investigations are subsequently quashed. Here is a documentary made in the mid-90’s implicating Larry King and many of Washington’s political elite. It appeared in TV Guides across the nation, but was yanked just before airing on the Discovery Channel.

so being a pathetic, closeted, gay – or marginally gay – man equals pervert? the article powerfully hinders my ability to take it seriously by leaping to this judgmental homophobia. craig’s failing is not “pervertedness,” but hypocrisy.
Thanks for the comment. I don’t know. I reread the article with this in mind. I think reaching into someone’s bathroom stall in a public restroom can qualify as perverted independent of homophobia. If he made analogous advances toward a woman, I think people would be just as bothered. We ought to have high standards for our Senators.
