  1. This lady is afraid of the media loosing its influence.
She spoke of nomination by convention as if it wrong.
This is a legal alternative in many states. And it makes
the influence of those who get involved more important.

It makes old fashion retail politicking more important.
What is retail politics? Convincing voters of your point
of view. Involves skills of persuasion on a person to
    person level.

Unfortunately for main stream media, it reduces effect of
talking heads. It gets American’s making decisions. Humm?

I have knocked on doors both politically and for business. It
is not easy and many do not grasp old fashion selling.
Understand it is what made America great.

It is too bad many young people think the Internet, facebook,
twitter or cell phones are better than person to person, eyeball
    to eyeball communications.

It is too bad that able people go to foreign countries and hide
instead of learning to persuade their neighbors and relatives and
school friends and others the importance of November 2012.

It is a pity, a great pity that many who could help, stick their
heads in holes in the ground instead of working to solve the
problems. It takes more than talk and posting stuff on web.
It takes old fashion work. And in the summer you get sweaty.

While I am not a Mormon, they require their young to go
on missions. Some missions are to foreign countries, but
many are to places and towns around USA. You can recognize
these young men riding bicycles wearing white shirts and ties.
Image traditionally dressed young mean, clean shaven, clean
    looking, selling their religious affiliation?

So why aren’t their more Ron Paul supporters who grew up in
New York City or similar environs out persuading and selling
    their beliefs?

One way to effect change is to win votes…

  2. I agree with your comments on the lady.

I also find your continued suggestion that I move back to the US charming. I have given a lot to the cause of liberty — time, money, scholarship, encouragement.

I think I will I give much more through my writing. Personal success (financial, literary) will make my future contribution all the greater, and I think my chances for success right now are greater outside the US. :)

It feels good to be missed though. Thank you, Ed.
