VICE Called Marines ‘Neo-Nazis’ on Same Day of Kabul Attack that Killed 13 U.S. Servicemen
On Thursday, amid the shock of the ISIS terrorist attack in Afghanistan, the VICE portal published an article titled “Why Are So Many Marines Neo-Nazis?” claiming that, according to “anecdotal evidence,” many members of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) held right-wing extremist beliefs.
The news site then shared the article, written by its columnist Ben Makuch, with a tweet that read, “While many veterans are being outed as far-right extremists, one branch keeps popping up when it comes to neo-Nazis: the United States Marine Corps.”

Simentov allegedly demanded money from volunteers working to facilitate his evacuation, Haaretz reported.
Moti Kahana, an Israeli-American businessman, told the outlet that Simentov initially agreed to be evacuated, but then made “personal financing” a condition of his departure.
Asked about Simentov in an interview with Israeli state television, Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said he had not heard of Simentov, but insisted the group would respect the rights of minorities.
