Nine Israeli travel executives have been arrested for allegedly fixing prices on student trips to Auschwitz and other Nazi death camps in Poland.
Thousands of Israeli children visit the concentration camps every year with their schools but police believe a cartel of travel companies plotted to keep prices artificially high.
The tour companies were charging parents around 6,000 shekels (£1,067) for an eight-day trip to Poland, when a fair market price was around 4,750 shekels (£845), according to the education ministry.

New York City To Allow Public Urination, because Minorities do it
The left-wingers who run New York City are about to make it 100% legal to urinate in public.

Urinating and drinking in public would no longer be treated as crimes under a package of bills New York’s City Council will consider to ease enforcement of quality-of-life offenses that lawmakers say clog the courts and have been disproportionately enforced against minorities.
The council scheduled a Jan. 25 hearing on the proposed laws, which are supported by Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, a majority of her 50 colleagues and Police Commissioner Bill Bratton. The proposal would remove the possibility of permanent criminal records for public urination and violating park rules, mostly treating them as civil offenses, along with public drinking, littering and excessive noise.

HOPKINS: PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA ARE ‘BLOCKING BEDS,’ AND THERE’S NO POINT TO THEIR LIVES
Hopkins’ off-color comments weren’t made completely out of the blue. Great Britain has been wrestling with whether or not to allow assisted suicide for some time now, an idea that’s repeatedly been shot down by the Parliament. But Hopkins is tired of all this concern for human life and wants to see all those gray-hairs six feet under as quickly as possible.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Hopkins has shown such disdain for the more vulnerable members of society. A recent “tweet” she posted to Twitter openly mocked dementia patients and their propensity towards forgetting things, writing:
“Babe I’m here again, I’m here again, where have you been. Babe I’m back again. I’m back again Where have you been? Take That Dementia style.”
And just like how she views the elderly, Hopkins is of the persuasion that dementia patients are pointlessly taking up space in hospitals and care facilities, and should be put to sleep. The Mirror Online reported on a related Hopkins tweet that stated, “dementia sufferers should not be blocking beds.” It proceeded to question the point of their lives.
It’s inevitable that Hopkins will someday become one of the many senior citizens in British society that she so despises. And based on the continued regression of health throughout the West, she’s also got a pretty good chance of developing dementia at some point in the future.
Both of these factors make Hopkins’ distasteful comments rather harrowing for her own survival — who, but the most gracious among us, would repay such a vile woman with kindness in her old age? Considering Hopkins isn’t married and loves to run her mouth off at every chance possible about the merits of euthanasia, it’s difficult to see how she’ll even make it into her sunset years.

Polylogism.
One of the best things about Human Action is its absolutely devastating criticism of polylogism or the denial of the rational unity of humankind.
In psychology the refutation of sapir-whorf more or less finished its appeal.
Unsurprisingly (and because of its natural appeal to class (ultimately race) analysis) polylogism found its way into philosophy and through philosophy to the sociology of knowledge.
And here is why: it permitted socialists to (1) dismiss their critics as hopelesly trapped in total ideologies and thus incapable of seing the truth of socialist theory, theory, that as they argued, is by necessity revolutionary; (2), it permitted the socialists to invoke Gramsci’s “power function” argument (this argument later found systematic expression in Karl Manheims philosophy wherein it is argued that all scientific theory serves to reproduce structural relationships of one kind or the other).
At this point, it is quite easy to understand why the Africanists beginning with Dubios (who was a socialist) latched onto “structural analysis” despite the plain conflict that results: it is a powerful tool for critising American institutional racism; and yet one cannot tacitly accept polylogism and still be a systematic humanitarian rationalist. (To his credit, Marcus Garvey, Dubios’ great rival – and a grade A racialist – saw this conflict and mocked Dubios badly). (Realising this conflict, afrocentrists, since the 1960s, have embraced the racialism of Anta Diop).
(At this point and although it is just a digression, I will like to note that the anthropological outlook of Boas was influenced by Dubios empirical sociology not the other way round. That Dubios scientific sociology was irreparably damanged by his socialism is no surprise to me, but that is a different matter)
Anyway, recently I have had the misfortune and honor to interact with a few racial chauvinists of “African” extraction and I must say I have been shocked by the intensity of their malady. These chauvinists (whom I shall call afrocentrists) have embraced polylogism to the T. (See my other post below for the difference between africanists and afrocentrists).
What is scary is that they think this embrace of irrationalism is helpful to their cause.
