U.S. spends $1 billion on Israeli defense

Recently we reported on the Israeli test of the Iron Dome missile defense system. It has now been reported that the US has provided more than $1 billion towards three of the missile defense systems under development by Israel.

The US House of Representative appropriations defense subcommittee recently appropriated $217 million to help develop a joint missile defense system with Israel. The appropriation is reportedly $95.7 million more than requested. (Read more from campaigniran.org)
