i dont even know what it has to do with egalitarianism either. the couple in question has made no attempt to force other people to do the same as they are doing, and in fact, they are not pretending the child does not have a gender, they are simply teaching the child that their genitals are their own private business and that what is in their pants need not be revealed to anyone who asks. no one is claiming that there is no difference btwn sexes, rather they are trying to minimize the impact of the socially dictated aspects of gender performance.
