One of the points I try to make with ternary logic is that the option to fight cannot come off of the table, unless we have already agreed to property rights – and a relatively equal understanding of those rights, and a mutual commitment to telling the truth. Otherwise, it is irrational to engage in debate with people who engage in deception, since if we forgo our violence to merely buy opportunity for deception that is foolish.
